2008 State Results

Congratulations to the DDL 2008 State Team members as listed below:

Twelve league teams from throughout the state participated in the round robin tournament. Competition started at 11:00 Saturday morning and 6 matches were played. Final matches were held on Sunday to determine this year’s champions. It was a great turn out with lots of support for all the teams.

Scottsdale Darts Association(SDA, Scottsdale) took first this year, reclaiming the State Champions Trophy. Southnr Arizona Darts Association finished in second place with a 6 point deficit. Twelve teams competed for a full competition and trying games. Desert Dart League (DDL) finished in 6th place for a huge advancement from the previous year. Good playing and good times.

The 2008 State Individual Champions this year: Tom Slivka is the Mens State Winner.
The women's State Champions included two winners from DDL: Lisa Yee finished as the first place Womens State Champion and Katie Lawien finished second with strong playing and fierce competition. Congratulations to DDL and to both Women players!
